愚人節快樂！Happy Fool's Day!

今天又是四月一日愚人節，可以小小惡作劇甚至捉弄人的日子。

你知道愚人節怎麼來的嗎？

愚人節起源於歐洲，大家在4月1日這天，都可以任意愚弄別人、開別人玩笑。

相傳在西元1564年的時候，法國採用新的曆法(格里曆Gregorian calendar)，將原來的元旦從4月1日改為1月1日。

但是，因為舊的曆法 (儒略曆Julian calendar) 沿用已久，改了新曆之後，由於當時通訊不發達，很多百姓沒有收到消息，

也有部分民眾根本不願改變原本的習慣，他們照舊在4月慶祝、拜年，於是成為其他民眾捉弄取笑的對象，被稱做「四月的蠢蛋」。

久而久之，就演變成現在的愚人節了！

April Fool's Day originated in Europe. People can play jokes on others on April 1st. Based on legend, in 1564 AD, France adopted a new calendar called Gregorian calendar.

The original New Year's Day changed from April 1st to January 1st. However, the old calendar called Julian calendar has been used for a long time, and communication was not well developed at that time.

After using the new calendar, many people didn't receive the news immediately, and some people didn’t want to change their habits.

Therefore, they continued to celebrate New Year’s Day on April 1st and became the scorn of other people, also known as "April fools".

As time passes, the day has evolved into April Fool's Day!
